Dr. Praveena Gupta, PhD, OD, board-certified optometrist, licensed optometric glaucoma specialist and experienced researcher, has joined the UTMB University Optical Center and is accepting new patients. Dr. Gupta specializes in fitting both soft and hard contact lenses.

Dr. Gupta also is a faculty member of the UTMB Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, one of the nation’s leading centers for research and treatment of eye diseases.
